A recent picture of former President Donald Trump looking like the happiest boy at the birthday party upon being presented with a big tray of red jello has been going around in memes over the past few days, despite its creator openly admitting he'd created the image using AI.

The photo was created by Jeremy Newberger, who unleashed it on the world last Sunday. The original tweet, which simply pairs the photo with the caption, "Trump starting to look really old?," doesn't necessarily have any indications that it was generated by artificial intelligence, though he has been experimenting with creating AI pictures of politicians over the past several days.

As the photo started going viral, Newberger cheekily attempted to give the game away on his satire by generating an image of Trump doing what appears to be the "Gangnam Style" dance, saying the former President's campaign released the image "to assert that Trump is in fact the most active and youthful candidate at the nursing home."

Eventually, Newberger flat-out admitted he had generated the jello photo with AI.

Still, the image made the rounds on social media as users took the opportunity to laugh at what they believed was yet another humorous and memeable Trump photo.

Though the AI-generated photo didn't come from a Democratic official or PAC, it is reminiscent of when the official GOP YouTube account used AI to create an advertisement imagining a dystopian future if Joe Biden were elected to a second term.

However, if Biden supporters want to find goofy images of Trump to make memes of him, there's certainly no need to use AI to find one.
