An influencer couple on TikTok has responded to a wave of hate comments they received about the difference in their weight after a viral video of them dancing together and kissing went viral on X in recent days.

On August 8th, TikToker @strawbeariemilkk posted a video of her and her boyfriend (TikToker @King_Moxu) doing the 'Go White Boy Go' dance. The top comment under the video, which gained over 8 million views in a week, quickly became, "WHAT AM I DOING WRONG⁉️⁉️" seemingly referring to the perceived difference in physique between King Moxu and strawbeariemilkk.

The TikToker posted a video response to the top comment that day in the form of another clip of her and King Moxu dancing. This time, they begin the video with a kiss before breaking into the "Go White Boy Go" dance once more.

That day, X user @ArealsigmaMale posted the video, simply writing, "Bro…." to over 12,800 likes and 7,200 quote-retweets.

The video inspired a fair share of mockery and hate towards the couple, including lots of comments by viewers asking, "What am I doing wrong?" These comments seem to imply that to some viewers, strawbeariemilkk was out of King Moxu's league and if "someone like" King Moxu can get an attractive girlfriend, why can't they?

Despite the negative reactions, the video has also inspired a lot of positivity towards the couple. Some X users quote-tweeted the video to celebrate the couple, claiming it as evidence that women value men for their personalities and prospects rather than looks.

It also inspired some memes about the two, including some people claiming Moxu looks like Twomad.

Now, King Moxu and strawbeariemilkk have responded to the hate in their own tongue-in-cheek posts. In one post to X, Moxu responds to the "what am I doing wrong" comments, writing, "on the real tho what’s y’all’s excuse." In another post by strawbeariemilkk, she writes, "We are getting married btw (by the way) and I may or may not be pregnant."

In yet another post by Moxu, he lets the haters know that he has very publically been on a weight loss journey on his YouTube page, with a video from earlier this year boasting about how he's lost 40 pounds.

Most recently, Moxu posted a selfie with the sarcastic caption, "Decompressing after a long day of being bullied on Twitter because my girlfriend is hot," garnering over 10,900 likes in under a day, suggesting the two really couldn't care less about the reactions to their viral moment.

Watched a few of his videos, he's got confidence and charisma. He's undergoing a weight-loss journey, which takes dedication. And there's uh, the sweatpants thing. Overall though, it's not that difficult to understand. Plenty of fat/ugly dudes have hot wives. Be courteous to others, show some self-respect, have a sense of humor, and you'll be fine.

Absolute chad energy. Showing all it takes to get a nice person in your life is to have a kind soul and not giving up.

As far as I can tell, get it king.

You forgot to mention the tweets where people were zooming in on his grey sweats (his own clothing brand he owns) and calling out the "real reason" why she's with him.

Yet another instance of people having very strong opinions and making unnecessary comments on people and situations they have no stake in.

Lots of supportive comments too, though, which is nice for a change
