Stephen A. Smith answering the real questions.

On an episode of his show, Stephen A. Smith has graced us with important analysis that's been bothering basketball fans worldwide: who would win in a one versus one matchup between NBA superstar LeBron James and the legendary Pokémon Mewtwo?

The burning question was sent by X user @lm_Prexx after Smith asked his audience to shoot him some questions he could answer later on his The Stephen A. Smith Show.

Given comparable stats of Lebron James and Mewtwo (6'9'' and 250 lbs for LeBron and 6'7'', 269 lbs for the Pokémon), a game of Twenty-one seemed like a perfect way to settle this. While LeBron James has impeccable basketball skills and would probably beat most other Pokémon out there, the military-grade arsenal of psychic powers at Mewtwo's disposal, including telekinesis, immense speed, and future foresight, tips the scales quite a lot, opening space for debate.

Luckily, the question was picked up by Smith during the show who provided his thoughts on the matchup.

Taking into consideration Mewtwo's ability to foresee LeBron's moves and, LeBron possibly not wanting to go anywhere near his opponent, and the non-zero chance non-zer of the athlete tripping on Mewtwo's tail during the game, Stephen gave the Psychic Pokémon a "maybe he can pull it off."

I'm not saying it definitely would happen, but it's possible.

Artist @jjeanlll visualized the probable scenario with a classic redraw of Venom Dunking on Spider-Man format.

Now that the question has been settled, it's time to answer whether LeBron would be able to take on Mewtwo in a Pokémon battle.
