Spider-Fans were elated earlier today after seeing a poster for the upcoming Across The Spider-Verse movie featuring a "spectacular" version of the beloved hero Spider-Man.

This version, from the 2008 show Spectacular Spider-Man, was one that many newer fans of the web-crawler grew up watching, leading to his inclusion in the movie being particularly special and giving hope to fans that other versions may find their way into the upcoming animated film as well.

Later in the day, after being asked point blank, the producer of the film (Christopher Miller) confirmed the addition, which led to a sudden flash of Spider-Man posting, specifically about this one and the Unlimited Spider-Man who was also seen as part of the poster.

Across The Spider-Verse has a release date set for June 2nd, 2023, so how exactly this "spectacular" version of the friendly neighborhood superhero will spin his way into the movie will have to wait for a trailer or the film itself.

i thought people hated spider-man unlimited, it being a reason it was ""unfairly" cut short. Something something zelda cycle?
