You probably can picture a sports team whose fans suck, but trust me, they have nothing on FC Seoul.

The Korean soccer club, unhappy with playing to an empty stadium during the coronavirus pandemic, intended to fill their arena with fashion mannequins to give the illusion of a crowd during their playoff against Gwangju FC. While this in itself is ridiculous enough, things got farcically out of hand when they instead received a load of sex dolls, which they then dressed in supporters' gear and smattered them throughout the stadium.

The club apologized, saying they wanted to do something light-hearted and that they didn't "check all the details" (such as the fact the dolls were holding ads for sex toys). They assured outraged onlookers that they thought they were buying normal plastic people and did not recognize the clear adult connotations of their purchase.

Other sports leagues have tried similar methods with regards to reviving the atmosphere of a packed stadium. In Germany and Taiwan, sports organizations have littered their stadiums with cardboard cutouts of smiling fans. They assuredly did not mess up this badly.

While Seoul FC's gaffe is certainly embarrassing, on the bright side this does mean sports are inching their way back after leagues around the world shut down due to the coronavirus, and now they're even sexier than ever before.

Corona problems require corona solutions.

Maybe it's the quarantine talking, but that one in the upper-left doesn't look half bad.

This would've been fine if the dolls weren't holding signs that advertise sex toys. They were all fully clothed and are not shown in an obscene way (although some of them could've used bras).
My only question is why they didn't check if the dolls are mannequins or something more adult-oriented. Wouldn't that be obvious when they see orifices and nipples on the dolls when they put clothes on them? Something tells me this is intentional to gain publicity.
