Some on social media are intently and needlessly staring at Donald Trump's crotch after a doctored image of the former President with a large bulge in his lower torso went viral over the last few days.

On Sunday, a tweet from Twitter user @Cirnose showcased what appeared to be a large circular protrusion on Trump's crotch. "WTF is going on," they wrote.

As the photo spread, many responded with familiar gags about Trump. Several joked that it was Trump's diaper or that his weight had given him a FUPA (fatty upper pubic area).

While it's unclear where @Cirnose found the image, The Daily Dot confirmed it was doctored after it spread online.

The original photo was taken during Trump's October 2017 visits to Puerto Rico after a hurricane devastated the region (the visits were also notable for his "paper towel toss" meme)

So no, Trump, at least in this instance, wasn't wearing a diaper or sporting a massive FUPA. As for a 2021 appearance that generated a similar swath of reactions, the jury is still out.

Did time rewind to the days when people couldn't shut up about Donald Trump? Because I'm pretty sure making dumb comments about how he appears in photographs was a part of that culture, too.

They're never shut up about him. The term "rent-free" doesn't even begin to describe it.
