Fans were excited to finally see The Batman when it came out on Friday, but many were left a little stunned to find out that the main antagonist, the Riddler, had only 500 followers on the in-universe Gotham social media site, yet still managed to gather a devoted loyal following and get a video with over 13 million views.

Largely on Twitter over the weekend, people were a bit taken aback at that lowly 500 follower count, mostly because it's seen as something that isn't hard to attain on a social site like Twitter if you just make some content and post daily. As a result, roasting the Riddler for his tiny following in The Batman quickly became one of the breakout memes of the film shortly after release, alongside many others featuring the star Robert Pattinson trending online.

As the jokes and posts continued to spread, it then became a viral trend on Twitter to retweet or post if you had more followers than the Riddler and what it would be like to ratio the Riddler.

Memes referencing The Batman have been increasing since its release this past weekend, so there will almost surely be more to come.
