Rockstar Reveals 'GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition' With Trailer And Release Date
Today, Rockstar announced Grand Theft Auto The Trilogy: The Definitive Edition, which includes GTA3, GTA: Vice City, and San Andreas, which will be coming to all modern systems.
The games feature newly updated graphics from the bottom up, while still maintaining the visual integrity of the originals. The collection is expected to drop on November 11th, and reactions so far from the internet seem hyped.
While many people were talking about the trilogy, today also marked the 20th anniversary of Grand Theft Auto: 3 coming out, and memes were starting to get made about the graphic updates alongside the announcement.
Today is the 20th anniversary of the release of #GTA3! To this day it's considered one of the most influential games of all time that has forever changed the open-world exploration genre. Happy anniversary! #RockstarGames pic.twitter.com/OuGbQNAAAL

I guess they would rather have us forget the actual first two games and assume the series started with 3.

Wow they activated ENB series on a trio of decade old games instead of doing a new one or at least allowing fan-made projects to finish their development, how impressive.
I hope that this only required the systematic blood sacrifices of a couple of ground floor devs to pull off and that they do the same next for the prequels, Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories, that way they can shit on those two games tooβ¦
