For over a decade rapper Rick Ross has enjoyed performing for avid crowds of fans at large venues, but that seemed to change in Houston over the weekend, leading to backlash on platforms like TikTok.

Over the weekend, Rick Ross was performing as part of the "Living Legends" show in Texas, but he reportedly went out on stage later than he was supposed to, causing him to become the closing act, which apparently did not sit well with the attending crowd.

Numerous videos with tens of thousands of likes posted to TikTok in recent days show the crowd starting to shuffle out of the arena while Rick Ross is in the middle of performing, opting to get out early ahead of parking instead of watching the "Rap Don" perform.

Following videos of the event subsequently going viral online, fans of the rapper were seemingly put off by the social media dogpile, however, and began to defend him and the show itself, claiming they had a wonderful time themselves and stirring up heated debates online.

This isn't the first time that a rapper has recently had trouble with a crowd, as DaBaby had to cancel a show in August after reportedly failing to sell enough tickets to have it make sense to open the venue up.

Ross himself has yet to comment on the details of the show or his reaction to the crowd leaving early despite widespread discourse online surrounding it.
