Beginning last night, Samsung smartphone users began reporting notifications from the company's "Find My Mobile" app. The messages, which simply contained the number "1," when tapped, would disappear, leaving users to wonder what it all meant.

Overnight, Twitter users reported the notifications en masse, tagging Samsung in their complaints and jokes.

As it turns out, Samsung accidentally sent the message during "internal testing." The notifications should be ignored and should not affect the devices.

Despite Samsung's explanation, people continued to mock the company and its notification flub.
