Pokimane Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction On Twitch Stream, But Keeps Calm And Carries On
Top Twitch streamer Pokimane had a nearly disastrous wardrobe malfunction yesterday while playing Overwatch 2, and the slip is now going viral.
While on camera during the livestream, her breast fell out of her shirt for about a minute, but she readjusted when she realized it. She then stopped streaming, deleted the VOD and resumed streaming after changing clothes.
Unsurprisingly, a clip of the moment was quickly posted to Reddit's /r/Livestreamfail, but it was instantly deleted by moderators.
While it's unclear if Pokimane's accident could lead to punishment from Twitch, those who saw the clip seem to agree that Pokimane did the right thing given the circumstances.
On Reddit, many commenters have praised her composure and expressed sympathy. One commenter compared it to a real-life version of the common nightmare where you're naked in front of your entire school.
“Seeing this clipped feels illegal,” another said.
Furthermore, the moment was hardly as scandalous as some other content that has reignited discussion about Twitch's nudity policy. It appears Pokimane was wearing nipple covers, so viewers weren't exposed to any female-presenting nipples, a benchmark that has in the past been where some social media platforms have drawn the line for "adult content."

Pokimane and Twitch have yet to comment on the incident. The occurrence also comes just days after she revealed she was the target of a scam in which someone set up a fake lingerie company to try and solicit nude photos of the Twitch star.

I think she shouldn't get banned for something that was completely unintentional, unexpected, and was dealt with quickly and professionally.
However, Twitch has been known to punish the slightest bits of misconduct. Not banning Poki here would almost be unfair to the people who been banned before for reasons out of their control.
Whether or not Poki gets banned for this, I hope Twitch shows equal treatment going forward.

Not sure if we can talk about "unexpected" when she's wearing nipple covering pasties. Also with a shirt like that, having your boob out as if lifted up from it with the edge pressing on her tit.. I'd imagine that would be easily FELT by a streamer that their tits out, which in my honest opinion makes this seem very intentional while wearing pasties to not actually show anything, then being so prepared to remove it from every site that shares it. Why? I don't know, but it sure has gotten her publicity again. She's talked about everywhere.
Also twitch is only known to punish the slightest bits of misconduct when it comes to male streamers. Female repeat offenders often get 3 day bans at best… and while there has been a "3 strikes and you're out", female streamers like Indiefoxx have gotten 6 bans in one year and only lost their partnership status on the sixth ban.. eventually, when people get calling out the hypocricy, how did twitch solve this? Made a specific thot category for pool tiddystreamers. Problem solved lol. It's such a joke.

Given the vast depravity of the internet, this seems rather tame. Especially since it is unintentional.
Having said that, how does that even happen? 'Cause right now it's pretty cold and I'm wearing two shirts and a sweater.
