There are 38 days to the 2024 United States Presidential Election, and the Republican candidate Donald Trump has once again used his Truth Social account to hawk tuah an exceptionally pricey good, this time a $100,000 gold and diamond watch.

One month ago, Trump posted a video advertising Trump NFTs at $99 a pop, with the perk that a person who purchased NFTs in bulk could get a physical card with a piece of a suit Trump wore in his debate with Joe Biden.

The video astounded social media for some of the bizarre phrases Trump uttered, such as "They call me the crypto president. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but a lot of people are saying that."

The "watch" video, which went up yesterday, doesn't have lines as surreal as that, but it still has moments that stood out to social media users. For example, when hyping up the glitziness of the watch, Trump said the watch has "over 200 grams of gold and over 100 diamonds. That's a lotta diamonds. I love gold, I love diamonds, we all do."

There are only 147 of the "Trump watches" being made, one of which is owned by Trump himself.

"I have watch number one," he said. "It's mine and that's the way I wanna have it."

Social media was astounded that Trump was once again advertising expensive Trump gear at such a crucial time in the election.

Meanwhile, Donald's wife Melania Trump has also been using social media to advertise her gear, as a week ago, she posted an odd video defending her modeling history as a way to advertise an upcoming book.

He knows if he loses the election (improbable, but not imposible) his grift career might be over.
