Over the weekend, a neighborhood Karen did the thing that all Karens do best: complained about something minor in a totally irrational manner. The Karen in question was caught by TikToker tizzybizzy92 on August 7th, 2021. The incident was posted to her TikTok profile where it was viewed over 9 million times before being posted to Twitter where it received an additional 300,000 views.

In the video, a woman knocks on the door and begins a confrontation with the homeowner over a flag being displayed in the front yard, which apparently upsets her. She demands that the flag be taken down and that there are HOA rules that have consequences, before the flag is revealed to be of the Winnie The Pooh character Tigger.

The most common responses to the video were utter shock at the fact that it was a Tigger flag that was triggering the Karen, as many thought it was a political flag like Black Lives Matter or MAGA. Something as innocuous as Tigger with a flower causing this much of a visceral reaction was baffling to many over the weekend, and a follow-up post later clarified the flag in question that caused the issues.

Apart from the fact that it's Tigger getting all this controversy, the stand-out moment that people are clinging to is the Karen claiming that there are "HOA rules," but she can't quote any of them and threatens to go find out. This humorous threat was picked up on as something that doesn't make any sense, as many suggested that even the Karen herself knew the flag was perfectly fine.

Got upset over something innocent.
Claimed there are rules for this kinda thing, but has no idea what those could be.
Uses Ad Hominem attacks.

Boy I could make assumptions here but I think the joke writes itself.

Homeowner's associations are authoritarian organizations that people should have the right to ignore.

The funny thing is I don't even think they are in an HOA. Karen tries to claim HOA authority, but tizzybizzy shuts that line down and Karen tries to pivot to city ordinances or some other half baked verbal diarrhea.
