MCU Fans Delighted At Scarlet Witch's Spotlight In 'Doctor Strange Multiverse Of Madness' Following Opening Weekend

With the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Marvel fans excitedly went into theaters over the weekend not knowing what to expect. Ever since January 2021, the story of Wanda Maximoff turning into the Scarlet Witch has been the most significant thing to hit the MCU since Thanos, and the film did not disappoint.

With Scarlet Witch being the cause behind the event that kickstarts the movie, the main force of nature antagonist and arguably a vicious murderer throughout, the movie is a treat for fans of her character's development over the past decade. After the first weekend of watching the movie, fans were quick to post their favorite scenes and memes from it on social media (sometimes recorded right off the screen).

With the theme of motherhood being a huge component of the MCU film, having the film release right before Mother's Day (as well as the fact that Multiverse of Madness humorously abbreviates to MoM) seems extra poignant, and fans were quick to jump on the motherhood train when it came to Scarlet Witch.

At the end of the movie, with Scarlet Witch / Wanda 616 being cared for by one of her variants, fans noted an important part of the exchange and what they think it means for the character.
