Mattress Mack Makes Millions As Houston Handles Philadelphia Phillies In Largest Legal Payout Of Sports Betting History

Recent meme sensation Mattress Mack has another reason to be happy, as his recent bet on the Houston Astros to win the MLB World Series earlier in the year (which he put $10 million on) has paid out to the tune of $75 million after the Astros finished up with game six.

Mack, who has enjoyed some time in the spotlight going into the World Series, was ecstatic when the final out was called, as seen in a viral video uploaded from people sitting by him during the game.

As is tradition for Mattress Mack, a large chunk of the money won will reportedly be used as part of promotional giveaways, with hundreds to thousands of residents in the Houston area now eligible to get a lot of free furniture.

This is part of a marketing strategy by Mattress Mack, who places bets on sports teams to win, and when they do, recoups his initial investment as well as has spare money for furniture giveaways.

Despite this annual tradition of his, people began to pull together discontent with the bet, unhappy at the state of sports gambling where large sums of money can be won and lost instantly.
