Kid Rock Reveals In Tucker Carlson Interview That Donald Trump Asked Him For 'Advice On North Korea'
Kid Rock sat down for an interview with Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson Saturday night, during which the rock star shared that former President Donald Trump asked for his advice on North Korea, evoking many responses online as he trended on platforms like Twitter today.
Kid Rock told Carlson that he first came to the Trump White House as Sarah Palin’s guest (which led to the famous meme image of Kid Rock, Palin and Ted Nugent with Trump) and was apparently also consulted by the former President on the composition of tweets. Kid Rock was surprised that the former President asked for his view on national security issues, reportedly showing him maps, but remains a staunch supporter. He also told him that the two men still play golf and talk on the phone together.
Political commentators on Twitter and elsewhere reacted to the news with varying degrees of disbelief and shock. Some saw Trump’s consultation of Kid Rock as highly predictable, given the 45th President’s fascination with conservative celebrities and open disdain for the American intelligence community and civil service.
Others mocked the former President for consulting a rock star on important state affairs and made fun of Fox News for covering it.
Along similar lines, some took the chance to sarcastically praise Kid Rock and his work. Kid Rock, also known as Robert James Ritchie, has been nominated for two Grammy awards and is recognized as a pioneer of the country rap style of music. His friendship with Trump is a continuation of his long involvement in Republican politics, which included exploring a Senate run in 2017.
Other viral moments from the interview included Kid Rock’s personalized “Let’s Go Brandon” Rolls Royce and his declaration that he is “uncancellable.” Both were highly praised in online conservative circles and memed or mocked among others.

Kid Rock said in his interview with Tucker Carlson that he's "un-cancellable" because he doesn't have any sponsor or record deals. No, you're un-cancellable because nobody has cared who you were since 2000.

Is he not agreeing with Kid Rock? He quite literally just made the same exact point as him but he thinks he is deriding him by how he said it.
