Have you ever been so hard-pressed for cash you'd considered resorting to desperate measures? Stereotypically, these measures might involve selling an organ or turning to sex work. Now, however, influencer company Ubiquitous has put forth the most indecent proposal of all — offering to pay someone $600 in exchange for watching 12 hours of TikTok.

If this sounds like a Clockwork Orange-style science experiment to study the limits of psychological torture to you (or a "Bud Light Chief Meme Officer" viral marketing attempt), then you're probably not the person Ubiquitous is looking for.

The company's application page says it is looking to pay an eager TikTok lover with an active social media presence $600 to watch a total of 12 hours of TikTok over the course of three days (that's $50/hour of TikTok watching, for those keeping track).

All they ask in exchange is a ranking of the winner's 10 favorite TikToks viewed in that period and that the "winner" share some of their favorite TikToks across their personal social media while tagging Ubiquitous.

The lucky applicant will also receive a $50 Uber Eats gift card, a $50 Target gift card, a flexible cellphone holder, a 12-inch ring light and a tripod.

Interested parties have until Halloween to apply. Soon, the rest of us will see the effects 12 hours of TikTok in three days has on a human brain. Will they emerge with text-to-speech voice, like Dr. Lucien Sanchez? Will they be unable to hold a normal conversation without simultaneously doing a trending dance? Time will tell.
