A UK woman reported that her "This Smells Like My Vagina" candle exploded into flames, causing an "inferno" in her living room.

Judy Thompson, 50, told The Sun that the candle, manufactured under actress Gwyneth Paltrow's wellness brand Goop, produced a 1.5-foot tall flame upon being ignited.

"I’ve never seen anything like it. The whole thing was ablaze and it was too hot to touch. There was an inferno in the room.”

Thompson shared photographs of the candle, which she won in an online quiz.

The candle, described as possessing a "funny, gorgeous, sexy and beautifully unexpected scent," is sold at $75 USD by Paltrow's online store. Despite what its name might make shoppers believe, the candle is made with geranium, citrusy bergamot and cedar absolutes.

This did not stop Twitter from going all out with jokes about Paltrow's explosive nether regions, however.

Since the launch of her wellness brand Goop in 2008, Gwyneth Paltrow has been making headlines with products such as jade vaginal eggs, stickers that were falsely marketed as made from NASA-grade materials and, of course, the "This Smells Like My Vagina" candle.
