(xQc and Gordon Ramsay)

Though Gordon Ramsay certainly figured out what TikTok was during the pandemic, it seems the profanity-laden chef never learned about Twitch. All that changed over the weekend when, on an episode of his new show Next Level Chef, he asked "What the f*** is Twitch?"

In the competition cooking show, he asked contestant, professionally trained chef and Twitch streamer Tricia Wang, aka Triciaisabirdy, what she does for a living. Tricia nervously responded that she streams her cooking on Twitch, to which Ramsay asks the question.

Ramsay's question opened the proverbial floodgates for Twitch streamers to reach out to Ramsay. The chef is actually very popular on Twitch, as many streamers, such as Hasan Piker and xQc, have flirted with copyright disaster by streaming themselves watching numerous Ramsay cooking shows.

After Ramsay joked about the Next Level Chef exchange on Twitter, xQc responded that he would be happy to give Ramsay a rundown. "America's next master streamer?," he joked. "You mean Next Level Streamer," Ramsay replied with a wink.

The exchange got fans of both entertainers buzzing about a possible collaboration between the pair. xQc admitted that his response to Ramsay may have been a little cringe, but even if their interaction amounts to nothing, Ramsay is now certainly aware that he's a hit on one of the internet's largest platforms.
