YouTube's well-known video game analyst MatPat started his petition to be considered for the next host of Jeopardy! shortly after the news of a replacement began to circulate.

While a replacement was eventually found and then unfound before landing on Ken Jennings for the rest of the year, MatPat hasn't given up hope. Also not giving up hope is over 330,000 people who have signed his petition on Change.org.

While announcing the big news that his petition reached over 300,000 signatures, MatPat also announced that his annual charity stream will be getting set soon, with St. Jude's Children Hospital set to received over $1 million. This is just another in a line of charity streams that MatPat has done in the past, and they promise to keep increasing as time goes on.

Whether or not this Change.org petition will result in anything tangible remains to be seen, but the recent wave of support for MatPat to host Jeopardy! seems to be growing.
