A Florida Man found himself under fire both legally and ethically after he took his Pomeranian dyed to look like the Pokemon Pikachu to various South Florida sporting events in recent days.

The vibrantly yellow dog, which the man claims was dyed with pet-safe dye, was seen at both a Florida Panthers hockey match and Miami Heat basketball game, where the courtside seats of the latter alerted millions to the dog, causing the trouble to start as it went viral online.

Because of strict county laws, which claim that dogs that are artificially dyed are not allowed to be kept or sold within the county, the owner reportedly received a fine and further threats that the dog could be removed from his care at a later date.

This then caused some people to support the man online after he defended himself by saying the dye used is perfectly safe, even for consumption, and showing that he is a professional who knows what he's doing. While he is a dog seller, it is claimed that the Pikachu Dog, named Zaza, is more of a mascot and not for sale.
