Ezra Miller Deleted Their Instagram After Posting Memes Mocking The Authorities Trying To Find Them
DC Comics' The Flash actor Ezra Miller is in the news yet again this week after they deleted their Instagram account following multiple memes they posted to their Instagram Story that seemingly mocked the authorities currently looking for them.
After restraining orders, "cult" allegations and the alleged abuse of a 12-year-old minor named Tokata Iron Eyes, the nonbinary actor has spiraled with publicity since their assault charges in Hawaii.
The memes in question were reposted to their Instagram Story and aligned aesthetically with inspirational photo quotes, "affirmation posting" and Tumblr girl vibes in general. One image read, "you cannot touch me I am in another universe," followed by a secondary image reading, "Message From Another Dimension," written in all caps.
Clearly, it appears the two posts back-to-back were taunting authorities that do not know of their whereabouts.
Three more memes were shared to their Instagram Story, all of which vaguely referenced their haters or negative opinions levied against them in general. One used a classic meme template of a guy throwing up and had a top caption reading, "me remembering how I was nice." Another used Grand Theft Auto characters holding a bouquet of flowers.
The aforementioned screenshots were sourced by the media outlet Comic Book Resources, also known as CBR, who additionally reported that Miller had deleted their Instagram account soon after posting the variety of memes.
The news spread to Twitter on Wednesday when the account of Culture Crave shared a tweet with the information.
Multiple reactions and memes surfaced about the development going into the days that followed. Many of the reactions came from DC fans who were upset by the actor's choices and how they affected The Flash and the Justice League franchise.
Additionally, the internet humor related to the new development was similar to previous discourse in memes regarding all of the scandals Miller's been a part of.
Meme creators and "funny tweet" posters imagined the struggles of Miller's PR team, and made comparisons to DaBaby and Amber Heard, as well as reiterated templates like Respecting Trans People's Pronouns.
Despite all the negative discourse regarding the LGBTQ+ actor, many Twitter users stressed the importance of not weaponizing Miller's behavior against all nonbinary, transgender or queer peoples. This has become an important distinction amid this growing controversy similar to any mass subculture with lots of nuanced members.

I can't help but wonder if Ezra is a either very malicious and evil or just sick in the head, and his performative "wokeness" and being trans/non-binary/whatever is a symptom of whatever demons he has in his mind or a wolf-in-sheeps-clothing to cover up for it.
I also have to wonder if he was such a flight risk before, if the studio didn't think it a big enough deal or his connections landed him the role regardless. Finally, if this is just the stuff that's come to light how much other abuse has he gotten away with, with or without help?
To be clear I don't like presuming guilt(even in cases that seem obvious like this) but this just cements my opinion that the entirety of Hollywood are either abusers, victims, or abuse enablers and the less I support them the better.
