Drama YouTuber Def Noodles Sues Keemstar For Defamation After Keem Shares Alleged False Grooming Allegations About Him
Earlier today, Dennis Feitosa, better known by his tea channel username Def Noodles, announced that he filed a lawsuit against fellow drama YouTuber Keemstar (real name Daniel Keem) for defamation. Feitosa announced the lawsuit in his daily YouTube upload earlier today, which has gained around 37,000 views at the time of writing.
The lawsuit has been filed in relation to a tweet that Keem published on May 21st, 2021, where he shared an anonymous allegation that Feitosa "groomed girls from ages 12-15." The tweet claimed that an anonymous "big YouTuber source" said, "Victims are scared of him & wish to stay anonymous but may come forward soon." In a reply to the tweet, Keem claimed, "Def Noodles has declined to give us a comment on these allegations made against him." The tweet gained roughly 2,700 likes and 160 retweets in a year.
I know I don’t do drama content anymore. But I was just sent this and holy shit I’m dying. Def Noodles is actually suing @KEEMSTAR. I’m at a loss for words… pic.twitter.com/RXYxSrtzyW

In his latest video and the lawsuit itself, Feitosa claimed Keem has admitted twice in the past that he made up the allegations and has never retracted them. Twitter user Tipster shared images of the publically available lawsuit today. The fifth page contains a screenshot of a February 2022 tweet by Keem where he seemingly admitted that the allegations were fake, writing, "He kept posting nonstop fake Pedo stories on Youtubers so I posted this tweet to mock him. In May 2021 everyone knows this is a joke."
This is not the first time Keem and Feitosa have butt heads. Feitosa has suggested in previous videos and posts that he suspects Keem and his followers of reporting his Twitter account and getting it banned last year. The official reason for his ban, as provided by Twitter, was for repeated rule breaking, and not mass flagging.
Don’t you remember he kept posting nonstop fake Pedo stories on Youtubers so I posted this tweet to mock him. In May 2021 everyone knows this is a joke that im mocking him, but now he’s taking it completely out of context acting like it’s a serious allegation.

The lawsuit is already inspiring a lot of mixed reactions on social media, with some showing support for Feitosa and others seeing it as an unwise move. Shortly after Feitosa's post, Keemstar tweeted, "Going to add more Play Buttons to my collection," which some believe is in reference to the lawsuit, although this is unconfirmed.
Going to add more Play Buttons to my collection.

Defamation Noodles suing someone for defamation? Way to open that can of worms right there.
