After years of begging and countless threads being made on all manner of gaming messageboards, Goku and Dragon Ball are finally collabing with another video game.

While the most often memed and arguably expected game is Super Smash Bros, which has a multi-decade-long history of asking for Goku to be a playable character, it turns out that Fortnite is the winner, securing the epic victory royale with Goku, Vegeta, Beerus and a still unknown character squadding up in-game.

The crossover event was first leaked in a Japanese magazine earlier in August, but the official Fortnite Twitter page confirmed it was happening on August 16th. Following the confirmation, fans are reacting intensely with hype and a slew of memes.

While many fans of the show were immediately thrilled to have their favorite anime character in the game, there was another contingent of fans who were happy, for they would finally get their chance to fight Goku while dressed as Walter White, Sasuke or any other manner of pop-culture character, finally answering the decades-old question, But Can He Beat Goku?

It is now unironically possible to squad up as Master Chief, Naruto, Kratos and Goku, only to get knocked by a Rick and Ariana Grande.

That Fortnite tweet is also, as of this post, their most popular tweet. It took only 13 hours for it to surpass their previously most popular tweet, which was the one about their Naruto crossover.
