Looking to supplement their release schedule, Disney+ has announced an eight-part documentary on their hit Star Wars series The Mandalorian. The first episode will be made available on, when else, May 4th. The announcement comes following numerous delays for Disney+'s 2020 releases due to the coronavirus.

Entitled Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, the documentary is a behind-the-scenes look at the series, hoping to remind fans that it's only been like six months since Baby Yoda first graced our television screens and launched an ungodly amount of memes.

Over the last month, several Disney+ shows, as well as Disney films, have been delayed because of the coronavirus outbreak. Disney pushed the anticipated series premieres of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision and Loki on March 14th. Production has yet to resume. The company also delayed the release of Black Widow and Mulan.

In addition to Disney Gallery, Disney+'s first "Star Wars Day" will play host to the finale of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

The eight-part documentary will air in weekly installments every Friday.
