The firestorm caused by Dave Chappelle's final comedy special on Netflix shows no signs of slowing down, as a new layer of gasoline has been poured on the situation. Jaclyn Moore, the showrunner for the Netflix comedy show Dear White People, a transgender white female, has decided to boycott Netflix over their continued allowance of Chappelle and his alleged jokes against transgender people.

While recently under fire himself for the transgender jokes in the special, many on social media pointed to this as justification and proving Chappelle's point right.

While the intended effect may have been to rally people against Chappelle or Netflix, the opposite also happened across the internet among a mix of supporters and detractors. The news of the showrunner for a Black-experience-driven drama being a white female led to many confused people on Twitter, as well as some feeling vindicated for never liking the show in the first place. The tweet by Variety that first broke the story was also noted as being "ratioed" by some because of a Twitter user pointing out this fact.

As expected, there were plenty that didn't really have a dog in the fight and chose to just stand on the sidelines and make memes while enjoying the fighting between either side of the viral debate. Memes and old images from XXXtentacion and Rachel Dolezal were brought back for this moment, among many others.

Moore did make another tweet to try and address her role with the show, saying that she was only the showrunner for the fourth season and the only white writer.

Man, JK Rowling really ruffled a lot of feathers by stating basic truths about sex. Amusing it continues to piss off people off to such a degree, peak transing has never been so easy.

Note that Jaclyn transitioned during the pandemic, which means the show was originally run by a white male, the exact antipode of what a progressive should be.

Lmao, just looked at his twitter. He's 6 feet 4 inches and openly states how he transitioned from "Bi sad boy to the kind of girl he used to get sad about", has a tattoo on his shoulder of a naked woman with a penis (futanari?), used faceapp and lamented he "could never even be that cute as a girl." and so much more!

Coombrain and egocentrism, what a sordid individual.

Since KYM doesn't feature and edit button, I feel the need to amend parts of my previous statements. Jaclyn was a writer for some of the episodes of the show, not the actual showrunner.

He also lives in fear of the dreaded Kiwi Farms, how typical.

White liberals often underestimate how conservative racial minorities can be. Black people specifically tend to be more religious than Whites (Black Baptists are the biggest deniers of evolution.)

It's not really just white liberals, white conservatives often make the same mistake. People assume that just because black people overwhelmingly vote Democratic that they must be very liberal or far left, but it isn't true at all. Many are quite conservative and far more could conceivably vote Republican if the party wasn't so consistently antagonistic toward them.

Why does every picture of her have her looking down on you with this sense of smug disdain?

Because people like that truly believe they are superior to us peasants.

Never underestimate the narcissism of radicals; many extremists are able to rationalize their disgusting behaviors/beliefs because of it.

Radical activists are narcissistic by definition – their entire world view is held together by the idea that they are saving the people.

"We support the voice of our black brethren, but only as long as they support our heavily jingoistic mantras."

No wonder the left pushes for white hate so much, without a common enemy their entire confederacy of racists, alphabet mobsters and Colored Pe- oh sorry that's not politically correct, People of Color would be wringing out each other's throats.

We all need to come together and join hands in unity.

And then look disdainfully over at the deformed guy in the green t-shirt that says "FEET".
