Award-winning yet controversial rap artist DaBaby recently canceled his concert that was set to be hosted in an arena in New Orleans, with the reported reason being low ticket sales.

Despite many noting the rapper has been on the "longest streak of good behavior" in his professional career, DaBaby appears to have issues selling tickets in the musical city of New Orleans, much to the glee of his detractors online. This viral news added further ammunition to those opposed to DaBaby who've been publicly stating their wish for his downfall over any one of his numerous past controversies.

While there were many who were trying to blame the economy or talking about how high ticket prices have been since COVID-19 created a gap year and a half without shows, this doesn't appear to be the case.

According to multiple sources, a large amount of the tickets that were up for grabs to see the show were as low as $35, though that was before the litany of extra fees that can sometimes triple a ticket's expected price.

This has led to a lot of mocking memes of people calling small gatherings DaBaby concerts and equating DaBaby tickets to tickets to see infamous flops like Morbius.

This cancelation of the concert has also been pointed to by some as the start of DaBaby's collapse as a musical artist, with some making fun of his recent concert performances and saying that this one would have been a dud if he didn't cancel it to "save his ego."
