Joe Biden Mocked For Playing "Despacito" At Rally Reaching Out To Hispanic Voters
Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden played yesteryear pop smash Despacito on his phone yesterday at his Florida rally designed to reach out to Latino voters.

The clip was eagerly shared around conservative circles, where pundits and commentators were ready to jump on the moment as desperate and out of touch, much like doing the 'Macarena' at the Democratic National Convention.
Imagine how desperate you have to be to play ‘Despacito’ in attempt to win the Hispanic vote. 🤣

Joe Biden’s “Despacito” moment made Hillary Clinton’s hot sauce moment look like nothing.Never has there been such a cringe moment in presidential politics since… the last Joe Biden appearance.

However, there was a little more to the viral clip than commentators paid attention to. Prior to his appearance, Biden was introduced by Luis Fonsi, the artist who wrote "Despacito."
Biden was literally introduced by Luis Fonsi, talking about how Despacito showed him that America can unite around good music. Biden then enters and plays the song. I hate people on this app. pic.twitter.com/RkepFZWGWj

For all you tools knocking
JoeBiden for playing "Despacito" at his event today, why not point out that
LuisFonsi, the artist who performed the song, had just introduced him?pic.twitter.com/X1txwDgVGJ— Chris D. Jackson (@ChrisDJackson) September 16, 2020
Just fyi, Biden didn't just walk on stage and played Despacito out of the blue. He was introduced by Luis Fonsi who said Despacito broke barriers for a new generation of Latin music and that Biden would encourage more creativity among latinx community.Biden plays the song.

The moment may still be cringeworthy, but politicians use popular music at rallies all the time. Heck, as part of his 2016 campaign, Donald Trump "danced to "Hotline Bling".
Speaking of Trump, he took the opportunity to repeatedly share a manipulated video which showed Biden playing N.W.A.'s "Fuck tha Police" instead of "Despacito," which Twitter had to label "Manipulated Media."
What is this all about? https://t.co/AAmBGgHhyR

There are 48 days until the election.

"¿Cómo están ustedes, jóvenes como yo?"
I tried my best to translate that fellow kids meme into Spanish, but failed miserably. Feel free to correct me.

Very cringe! Absolute Boomer move!
Biden still wouldn't be half the Anally-Expulsive Kleptocratic Fascist that Trump is, even if he tried to start catching up starting today.
Krazy Kricketune
Fun fact twitter claimed this video as "altered media" apperntly… even though everyone seen it.
Kazu
just because he was introduced by mr. despacito man himself doesn't make it any less cringy.
it's the equivalent of when hillary got katy perry at her rallies.

Who TF thought this was good idea? Are you dying of dementia?
Panuru
I like how the candidate who bragged that the questions on a dementia test were very difficult is trying to pin the other guy as senile.
