Top military officials testified to Congress about UFO sightings and unresolved questions surrounding the issue, officially acknowledging that there are and were things in the sky that the United States cannot identify, and which may be concerning for national security.

Understandably, today’s public hearing on UFOs may seem like a distraction for some. But I would urge people to consider the implications of exploiting this technology. If science embraces this, free energy becomes a real possibility. That alone deserves support.#ufotwitter

Many expressed frustration at the UFO hearing, however, arguing that Congress could be doing more valuable things with its time than considering the existence of aliens. The criticism came from both sides of the political divide.
$5 dollar gas. No baby formula. Record crime. Record inflation. Border crisis. And what’s Congress doing today? Holding a hearing on UFOs!

There remains, however, no word yet about the status of Area 51.

Tuned in for a bit and it mostly seemed aimed at assessing what exactly the UAP could've been, how reliable we can reproduce the effects that made the UAP look like that, and how well American sensors are at detecting these types of UAP. With the Bayraktars and civilian drones dramatically influencing the war in Ukraine it is vital that military intelligence can correctly identify the drones that likely caused this UAP.
