Brie Larson's Who Said Food Can't Be Fun? Tweet Has Social Media Roasting The Absolute Madlass
Brie Larson is having a moment on Twitter after letting her goofy side shine through in a recent post where she asked, "Who said food can't be fun?"
This is dangerously wacky stuff from Larson, who posted two pictures of her approaching some sort of dish with a big leaf over it. The first one shows her sticking her tongue out over the leaf, the second laughing at her silliness, the absolute madlass
The relationship between Larson and social media has long been a strenuous one. She's undoubtedly celebrated for performances in films like Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Room (not that Room), but she's also rubbed many the wrong way with her more candid moments outside of film. Her social media presence has also struck many as odd, as people have struggled to parse the meaning behind some of her tweets.
Her "food can't be fun" tweet was recognizable enough to any internet veteran, however, as it was the latest iteration in the "overreaction to slightly goofy action" genre of meme. Think Absolute Madman or She's So Crazzzzzzy: Larson's post follows in the footsteps of people doing a little jape for the amusement of their friends.
While it's still unclear who in the history of humankind ever said "food can't be fun," at least Brie Larson is proving that hater wrong, and at least some have sympathy for the roasting she got in response to her goofy little post.
