bagel boss guy suffers stroke in new york
Chris Morgan, the man better known as the "Bagel Boss Guy," has been hospitalized after suffering an apparent stroke outside a Long Island deli on Monday.
According to Morgan's manager, Blll Shannon, the emergency happened at the deli near Morgan's parking spot for his minivan, where he resides. Shannon says that Morgan was able to communicate by moving his arm in a recent visit to the Bayshore hospital where Morgan is receiving treatment.
"I went in there and I said ‘hello’ to him," Shannon reported the New York Post. “I said ‘I’m sorry this happened’ to him. He was definitely aware I was there and responded with his hand."
A GoFundMe page has sine been launched by Shannon to help pay for Morgan's hospital costs.
Last July, Morgan rose to viral fame after going on a sexist about women rant in a Long Island bagel shop. His outburst led to physical altercation with another customer.
Video of the event inspired a series of memes, making Morgan a target for tabloid interviews and celebrity events.
