YouTuber Gabbie Hanna is trending on Twitter again with the hashtag "#ApologizeToGabbieHanna" after releasing previously cut footage from a January podcast with fellow YouTuber Trisha Paytas, accusing them of lying about a number of past situations and providing evidence that the two used to be deeper friends than Paytas has let on.

In February, ex-Frenemies cohost Trisha Paytas appeared on an episode of Hanna's podcast "Burnout with Gabbie Hanna," leaving many drama fans believing that the long-spanning beef between the two had finally been squashed. Hanna and Paytas have been at each other's throats online for a number of years over a number of issues, including reports that Hanna spread rumors that Paytas has herpes. Over the course of the last year, drama between the two has largely circulated around Hanna's claims that she and Paytas were close friends before having a falling out, which Paytas has denied while accusing Gabbie of being delusional.

The cut content provides evidence that the extent of their friendship was more than Paytas had let on, and includes receipts for text exchanges between the two showing a brief history of mutual back-and-forth. Much of the cut content is an argument between the two about a previous time when Hanna asked Paytas for their address to send them a copy of her poetry book after the two bonded over poetry and art. Paytas called out an "anonymous YouTuber" (presumed to be Hanna) for trying to get her address to send her the book. Paytas has denied she was talking about Hanna.

The release of the cut content sparked the hashtag "#ApologizeToGabbieHanna" to trend on Twitter as users demanded Paytas and those who flamed Hanna to apologize for being so wrong about her. At least, that's what you'd assume going into the hashtag. Instead, the top posts under the tag are all criticizing Hanna, reminding everyone that just because she was potentially right about one thing does not excuse her for her past wrongdoings, of which there are allegedly many.

The hashtag trends at a tumultuous time for the influencers, who are each facing their own dramas. Paytas is currently dealing with backlash for leaving the Frenemies podcast with co-host Ethan Klein in a less-than-professional manner, while Hanna faces criticism over refusing to respond to a video by Jessi Smiles saying she's been defending Smiles' rapist.
