Last night, Ethan Klein, host of the H3 Podcast, took to Twitter and TikTok to reveal that controversial and recently banned from social media influencer Andrew Tate has sent him a cease and desist letter demanding that Klein stops "defaming and slandering" him.

Klein broke the news on Twitter last night with a post that's gained over 190,000 likes in less than a day.

Klein has been an outspoken critic of Tate for months, routinely calling him a misogynist and suggesting he's a human trafficker on his podcast. The human trafficking allegations stem from reports in April that his home in Romania was allegedly raided on suspicions of the crime. The investigation is reportedly ongoing, according to Romanian police.

Klein didn't stop with the tweet. He's since posted three videos to TikTok about the letter. In the videos, Klein calls Tate a hypocrite for trying to shut down his right to free speech, as Tate claims to be a supporter of free speech and many of his supporters and detractors alike claim his cancelation is an affront to free speech itself. In one video with over 400,000 views at the time of writing, Klein told Tate to "cease and desist deez nuts." In another, he directly told Tate, "sue me."

Klein is no stranger to lawsuits. In 2016, Klein and his wife and collaborator Hila won a copyright lawsuit against YouTuber Matt Hoss, who attempted to sue the pair for unfairly using his footage in a negative reaction video. Earlier this year, Klein then won two of four lawsuits filed against him by movie producer and Triller CEO Ryan Kavanaugh and was awarded the attorney fees for those suits just two days ago. One of these suits was aimed at a website run by the H3 Podcast, doesryankavanaughlooklikeharveyweinstein.com, which was found to not be defamatory.

Whether Tate's cease and desist letter gets added to that pile of lawsuits remains to be seen.

Ethan Klein is at this point a lawsuit collector.

You think he'd switch to collecting something a bit less expensive at this point like endangered species or first run factory defect amiibos.
