A 'Lost Song' Mystery Has Been Solved, As A Demo That's Baffled Reddit For Years Ends Up On K-Pop Singer Tzuyu's Upcoming EP

Detectives on Reddit's /r/lostwave, a subreddit inspired by the hunt for "The Most Mysterious Song on the Internet," were delighted when the answers behind "One Love," another of the mysterious songs they've been tracking down, were delivered to them gift-wrapped yesterday.

The song will appear on an upcoming album from K-pop artist Tzuyu, a member of Twice, one of the biggest girl groups on the planet, making her solo debut.

"One Love" began circulating online in 2022 as a "mystery song." It was believed to have been made around 2013.

For months, Redditors and a Discord team worked to identify the artist behind the track, to no avail.

Then yesterday, Tzuyu, a singer from Twice, released her "album sneak peek," which includes samples from every track that will feature on her record. The penultimate track, titled "One Love," is undoubtedly the same song Redditors had been hunting down for months.

The song also came with producer and songwriting credits, which led Redditors to an artist named Kamille. Redditor LoveyDoveyHoneyPeppa DMed Kamille, aka Camille Purcell, for confirmation, and the artist confirmed she was behind the track.

Now, if only "The Most Mysterious Song on the Internet" would end up on a Jimin EP or something …
