A five-year-old boy was pulled over by Utah police on Monday after he had stolen his Mom's car with the intent of purchasing a Lamborghini.

Pictures of the high-octane arrest were shared by the Utah Highway Patrol, who said they had suspected an impaired driver only to find a toddler with three dollars and a dream.

The boy, evidently some kind of driving savant, made his way onto the freeway from his house where he was pulled over for going 32 MPH. He had gotten into an argument with his mother after she refused to purchase a Lamborghini, and did what any sensible five-year-old would do: steal his parents' car to drive from Utah to California to purchase the sports car. Thankfully, there is dashcam video of the scene.

Incredibly, the child had the wherewithal to pull over upon hearing sirens. Police said they were shocked that the child was able to successfully get the car onto the freeway and head in the right direction. He had apparently never driven a car before in his life.

"Kids are kids and they get an idea in their head and don’t realize what it takes to pull that off, and I think that’s what happened here,” said State Trooper Rick Morgan. “Young man decided he wanted to go to California and buy a car. He grabbed the keys and he was off."

The story was popular on social media and has been widely covered by news organizations. So remember kids: crime doesn't pay, but if you're cute enough, it can go viral.
