In 2025, the section of the song where Katy Perry sings, "You're like an Indian summer in the middle of winter" became the subject of memes and reactions on TikTok. One of the earliest known examples of this was posted by TikToker[3] @caseyistrash47 on March 21st, 2025, in which they lip dub to the song under the caption, "She was proNOUUNCong in the studio that day," garnering over 2.8 million views in two months.

On April 2nd, 2025, TikToker[4] @stefanb2000 posted a video doing an exaggerated lip dub of the song while eating noodles, garnering over 1.6 million views in a month. On April 3rd, the same TikToker[5] posted another lip dub video to the song, garnering over 3.6 million views in the same span of time.


On May 5th, TikToker[6] @proletariat.repair posted a video in which he blows his mustache upward to the tune of the song, as if lip dubbing it with his mustache, garnering over 3.3 million views in three days.


On the same day, TikToker[7] @fartsmella_02 posted a video lip dubbing to the song while standing in front of a SpongeBob shower curtain, garnering over 7.2 million views in three days.
