On August 26th, 2025, multiple internet users commented on Swift and Kelce's caption in viral posts. For instance, on that day, X[2] user @Stevensully99 tweeted a GIF of a woman crying, captioned, "From 'I Wouldn’t Marry Me Either' to 'Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,'" gaining over 56,000 likes in a day.
