Young Hoes Cook Everything on High refers to a viral tweet shared by Twitter / X user @Bean_____1 in mid-November 2025, which proclaimed that young women often cook on the highest stovetop burner setting no matter the recipe. Many internet users seemingly agreed with the tweet's take, evident in viral posts and memes about the idea that spread en masse in the following weeks. Despite the tweet's virality, its concept was originally shared on Facebook. The catchphrase was reminiscent of the Eat Hot Chip and Lie tweet from 2019.

Origin

On August 27th, 2025, Facebook[11] user Kiy Moneyy shared a post that read, "They wasn't lying when they said young hos cook everything on high 😂😫," gaining over 1,800 reactions and 3,700 shares in four months. The post is currently the first known viral spread of the Young Hoes Cook Everything on High meme.



However, a few months before the Facebook post, on March 31st, 2025, X[2] user @JelaniMoreno tweeted, "Whyyyy do men cook everything on HIGH???" gaining over 103,000 views and 2,100 likes in nine months. It's unknown if Kiy Moneyy was inspired by the precursor tweet or not.



November 2025 Tweet

On November 11th, 2025, X[1] user @Bean_____1 tweeted, "Young hoes cook everything on high," gaining over 15.3 million views and 51,000 likes in a month. The tweet notably launched the idea's popularity.

X[1] user @Bean_____1's tweet was quote-tweeted by several users in the following days, such as on November 12th, 2025, when X[3] user @KrissyTheMua wrote, "Pot roast be done in 45 min," gaining over 52,000 likes in a month.



Also on November 12th, X[4] user @dylanali_ quote-tweeted the post, writing, "This is actually great analysis and true," gaining over 31,000 likes in a month.



On November 14th, 2025, X[5] user @iluvsemi tweeted, "I hate that one tweet bc damn I actually do cook everything on high," garnering over 7,400 likes in a month.



Later on November 14th, TikToker[9] @sagittariusfinnest shared a video on the original tweet, in which she joked about "all the young hoes confirming" that the tweet was accurate. Over one month, the post gained over 27,600 likes.

On November 19th, 2025, TikToker[10] @kianasfitsnfeelings shared a video in which she called the Young Hoes Cook Everything on High tweet a Load-Bearing Post and joked about it changing her cooking habits. Over three weeks, the video gained over 444,500 likes.

The Young Hoes Cook Everything on High tweet retained relevancy in the following weeks as several internet users referenced it in viral posts.

For instance, on November 27th, X[6] user @future_liz tweeted, "'Young hoes cook everything on high' raced through my mind on a loop as I whisked my roux and sauces earlier today," gaining over 59,000 likes in 11 days.



On December 7th, 2025, X[7] user @Younglordsean tweeted, "'Young hoes cook everything on high' was about more than food," receiving over 22,000 likes in a day.

Later on December 7th, X[8] user @britneychanel0x quote-tweeted @Younglordsean's tweet, writing, "Could write a whole dissertation on how layered that analysis was," gaining over 14,000 likes in a day.
