The human character starts by saying, "Hey, you, don't scroll past. Yeah, I'm talking to you." The viral video was originally posted to Instagram Reels in September 2021. It spread in video edit memes on iFunny soon after and later spread to TikTok in late 2025.

On September 9th, 2021, Instagram^[1] user @kgeetvcartoons posted an animated video of two characters, a brown bear and a Black man in a green shirt, standing in front of a purple background. The man starts by saying, "Hey, you, don't scroll past. Yeah, I'm talking to you." In a deep voice, the bear says, "You like dirty adult humor, mane? You like cartoons, mane? You like cartoons with dirty adult humor, mane?" They then tell the viewer to follow Kgeetvcartoons. Over four years, the video received roughly 25,100 views and 3,200 likes.

On September 30th, 2025, TikToker^[7] @notyahiamations1 shared a video edit meme that combined the original video with other trending video memes like 'Daisy Bell' by Lil Godd. The post received over 59,000 likes in a day.
