You Can Stop Worrying About Grenades Now is a quote from Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege said by the Jäger character who can intercept live grenades and defend characters with anti-detonation devices. The ubiquity of the catchphrase led to it being referenced in memes in the Rainbow Six Siege fandom.

Origin

Rainbow Six Siege was released on December 1st, 2015.^[1] During the game, when the Jäger character deploys anti-detonation devices, he sometimes says the line "You can stop worrying about grenades now."

Spread

Shortly after the game's release, fans began noticing the line and spoofing it. A video posted on January 27th, 2016 showed off the character saying the line repeatedly after deploying anti-detonation devices (shown below, left). On August 1st, a video posted by GageB showed the character saying the line right before a grenade goes off, gaining over 5,500 views (shown below, right).

In addition to videos making fun of the line, images posted in which a Jäger glitch was employed and an excess of anti-grenade devices were shown in the game were posted with the line as the title, gaining over 700 upvotes. Such a post was made on /r/Rainbow6 on December 5th, 2016 (shown below, left). A similar post to the same subreddit from July 1st, 2017 gained over 500 upvotes (shown below, right).
