About
Yodie Land and Blinker City refer to imagined settings coined by YouTube streamer Damianluck925, also known as Fulcrum and most known for his catchphrases, "Fulcrum Come In Yuhhh Yodie Gang" and "Faded Than A Ho," which earned him virality on TikTok and in the world of Twitch in late 2022. Yodie Land is where Fulcrum exists spiritually when he's high on weed in public places, inviting his viewers to join him there. Blinker City is another imagined setting that references Fulcrum's "blinkers" which is a slang term for hitting a dab pen until it blinks. As Fulcrum gained notoriety, so did his two settings which were then humorously imagined through photo slideshows on TikTok as futuristic utopias.
Origin
The first known instance of Fulcrum calling his fanbase Yodie Gang was on March 27th, 2021, in a video titled, "STIIIZY FLOWER N ROSIN YUUUPPPP." At the 7:11-minute mark of the show, he calls his fans Yodie Gang for the first known time (shown below, left). The term Yodie Land was first used to label Fulcrum's clothing brand with the same name, first being announced in a video uploaded by Fulcrum on July 6th, 2021 (shown below, right).
On October 5th, 2021, Fulcrum tweeted,[1] "yodie land," for the first time (shown below, left). On January 25th, 2022, Fulcrum posted a YouTube video that included the audio for his song "My Way Out" which dropped the lyrics, "Somewhere out in Yodie Land blowing packs all kind of strains." The video received roughly 55,600 views in ten months (shown below, right).
Following Fulcrum's October 2022 virality on TikTok, on October 4th, 2022, the TikTok[2] page yoadieland reposted a moment from Fulcrum's stream in which he described the meaning of Yodie Land (shown below).
Spread
As Fulcrum became notable on TikTok in late 2022, videos referencing "Yodie Land" started to emerge. For instance, on September 26th, 2022, TikToker[3] user87694532815 posted a video showing a kid that was obviously high with text overlay reading, "bros in yodieland." Over the course of two months, the video received roughly 702,100 plays and 96,500 likes (shown below, left). On November 1st, 2022, TikToker[4] adizzlefr posted a video about going to "yodieland" before working out, gaining roughly 250,100 plays and 38,600 likes in 20 days (shown below, right).
On November 16th, 2022, TikToker[5] qcm0clips captioned a Utopian-esque Squidward video with, "POV: me entering yodieland," gaining roughly 270,500 plays and 65,500 likes in five days (shown below).
