About

The Yes You Can Trend is a lip-dub trend on TikTok in which users dance and lip sync to the unreleased Young Thug song "Yes You Can" over a caption about something that a person purportedly cannot or should not do, the implication being that you actually can do that thing. The trend was popularized on TikTok in mid-May 2025 and continued to prove popular leading into June, inspiring some controversy after numerous people purportedly under the age of 18 began posting versions of the trend thirst trapping with captions like, "'I can't date a 2013' #yesyoucan," meaning someone (a minor) born in 2013. These videos inspired memes on the app where people parody the posts.
