Origin

On January 11th, 2024, the first episode of the Ted comedy series premiered.[1] In the first episode of the series, Ted, an anthropomorphic teddy bear voiced by Seth MacFarlane, and his friend Josh Bennet, portrayed by actor Max Burkholder, converse about diversity at their new school, with Josh mentioning that last year the school had an Indian student and adding that "they got him." Ted then asks Josh to elaborate, but he dodges the question.

- Oh, last year we had an Indian kid.
- Oh yeah?
