About

Yeah, But They Got Him, continued What Does That Mean?, refers to a scene from the 2024 comedy TV series Ted in which protagonist John Bennett reminisces about an Indian student who studied at his school last year until "they got him," opting not to elaborate when asked about what "they got him" means. Origin

On January 11th, 2024, the first episode of the Ted comedy series premiered.[1] In the first episode of the series, Ted, an anthropomorphic teddy bear voiced by Seth MacFarlane, and his friend Josh Bennet, portrayed by actor Max Burkholder, converse about diversity at their new school, with Josh mentioning that last year the school had an Indian student and adding that "they got him." Ted then asks Josh to elaborate, but he dodges the question.

- Oh, last year we had an Indian kid.
- Oh yeah?
- Yeah, but they got him.
- What does that mean?
- I liked him, too.
- What do you mean "they got him"?
- He used to share his Dunkaroos. Good guy.
