On August 9th, 2019, the meme website Dopl3r[1] uploaded an image (seen below) of a cat inside a plastic bus toy with the text in Spanish "Ya llegó tu Uber, TUBER dadero amor." The meme refers to a wordplay with Uber's company name, as it sounds phonetically similar to the actual phrase "Tu Ver[dadero]" (read together as "Tuber").

The meme was popularized on social media a few months later around October 2019, receiving variations of other animals driving cars with the phrase overlayed in the images. For example, on Octonb23 29th, 2019, Facebook[2] user doggie.mexico posted an image of a chihuahua with its paws in a steering wheel and the text in Spanish "Ya llegó tu Uber, tuberdadero amor. Beibi." The post (seen below) garnered 191 likes and 77 shares in four years.
On May 14th, 2020, Twitter[3] user @SuavesLomitos uploaded a version of the meme featuring a Shiba Inu dog inside a stuffed car. The post (seen below) garnered 16,800 likes and 3,800 retweets in three years.
