Over the course of 2018, screenshots of the article began spreading primarily on Twitter as a way to express agreement with people the poster dislikes. For example, Twitter user @DiorioNathaniel^[2] posted it next to a screenshot of a Ben Shapiro tweet on February 7th. On March 29th, @adamjohnsonnyc used the image next to a Donald Trump tweet about Amazon.

Another popular example of the meme was posted by @weave221 in response to Azealia Banks roasting Elon Musk on her Instagram stories (shown below, left). On May 30th, Twitter user @datnofact said "You can measure precisely how bad twitter currently is by how often you're tempted to use this meme."
