On April 15th, 2016, YouTuber^[1] Jay Jay, who also goes by j_weasy on Instagram,^[2] posted a video taken from a camera on his bicycle, titled "Funny bike crash," that gained over 1.8 million views in nine years. In the video, the cyclist is seen crashing into a man in a vest fixing a tire on a BMW somewhere in England. The man's name is Ferdi. The crash causes Ferdi to hit his head on the car. J_weasy apologizes repeatedly as Ferdi yells at him, notably yelling, "Why you coming fast?"

The video was reposted online numerous times over the following years, including a repost by YouTuber^[3] MR 8 on November 12th, 2017, with significantly better quality, garnering over 3 million views in eight years.

On November 8th, 2022, TikToker^[8] @aminyamum1 posted a video of himself encountering Ferdi in public, garnering over 3.5 million views in three years.

On December 3rd, YouTubers^[9] The Podghost Podcast posted an episode of their podcast with Ferdi, garnering over 17,000 views in three years. During the episode, he talks about how, after the viral video, he got his friend's son to manage his career, but believes he ended up getting ripped off.
