Why You Acting Like a Bitch? / Because I Gave You Too Many Chances to Understand, also known as June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, refers to a viral video posted by rapper Dax on TikTok and Instagram Reels in which he's sitting on a bed and a female character is talking to him, saying, "Excuse me, hello? Why you acting like a bitch?" Dax responds by rapping a verse on his song "From A Man's Perspective," leading with the lyrics, "Because I gave you too many chances to understand / That pain sounds different when it's coming from a man." A caption on the video read, "June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month 🙏🏾❤️." The video became an exploitable video template in late 2025, used by meme creators who replaced parts of it for comedic purposes.

The video also became the subject of animation memes during the same timeframe, in which animators replaced Dax and his partner with characters from pop culture. Many of the Animation Memes used a clip of streamer and YouTuber Macc Danny, also known as DannyAnene, laughing at the video. Notably, Dax is also he rapper from the Joker Open Verse Challenge video.

Origin

On January 10th, 2025, rapper Dax shared a video on his TikTok^[8] account, @thatsdax, showing himself sitting on a bed and getting berated by a female character who says, "Excuse me, hello? Why you acting like a bitch?" As a response, Dax stands up and starts lip-dubbing his song, "From A Man's Perspective," which was originally released on December 27th, 2024.^[2] The lyrics that Dax responds with are, "Because I gave you too many chances to understand / That pain sounds different when it's coming from a man." Over eight months, the video received over 32,800 likes.

On June 7th, Dax shared another video on TikTok^[1] that followed the same premise but with slightly different camera work and a new, black T-shirt. The video received over 523,600 likes in three months.

Dax also shared the video on his Instagram^[3] account, @thatsdax, on that same day, gaining over 178,100 likes in three months.

On June 22nd, Dax shared the original video on Instagram,^[4] gaining over 103,300 likes in three months.

Spread

On July 17th, 2025, TikToker^[6] @stevoclub posted a video in which he reacted to the abovementioned video, saying that Dax's video was part of the reason why people didn't take men's mental health seriously. Over two months, the video received over 748,900 likes.

On August 28th, streamer Macc Danny posted a video to his TikTok^[5] account, @macdannyyy, showing himself reacting to Dax's video. The caption read, "TS was soooo buns 😭 🥀." Over three weeks, the video received over 201,400 likes.

On September 3rd, 2025, TikToker^[7] @honeymariejai posted an animated version of Macc Danny's video, using characters from Teen Titans. Over six days, the video received over 211,400 likes.
