It is unclear when the "Green/Pink/Blue Person" trend initially began on the platform, however, videos following the trend became increasingly prevalent on TikTok^[1][2] throughout 2021 (examples shown below). The videos typically ask who your "person" is and give a designated color, then a definition that attributes characteristics to the color.

The definitions for several of the most prominent "[color] persons" are:

• Pink Person: Someone who has seen you at your best and at your worst and hasn't left your side.
• Blue Person: Someone who is your comfort person, makes you feel safe and takes away your worries.
• Orange Person: Someone you have known for less than a year but they already changed your life for the better.
• Green Person: Someone who randomly became a part of your life one day and saved you; now you can't imagine life without them.
