Who Did the Young People Pick as They Leader? NBA YoungBoy, also known as Ooh Give Me Gas or Charleston White Farting, refers to a viral video of influencer Charleston White sitting in a car and talking about rapper NBA YoungBoy and farting after saying his name. He then says, "Ooh, give me gas talking 'bout that little boy." The original video was shared on Instagram and TikTok in 2021. It continued to amass viral memes and brainrot edits heading into 2025.

On December 14th, 2021, YouTuber[1] ReelViewTV posted a clip of Charleston White speaking in a car, saying, "Who did the young people pick as they leader? NBA YoungBoy." He then farts and says, "Ooh, give me gas talking 'bout that little boy." Over four years, the video received over 58,900 views (shown below).

On May 30th, 2022, YouTuber[2] @rapn reposted the video, receiving over 169,300 views in three years.

Viral reposts were shared on TikTok as well. For instance, on May 11th, 2023, TikToker[3] @zaintrippinn posted the clip, gaining over 523,400 likes in two years (shown below).

On April 1st, 2025, Instagram[6] user @lilspeedyak posted a brainrot edit of the original clip, in which White had glowing eyes and his voice speed was affected. Over three months, the video gained over 354,000 likes (shown below).




Also on April 1st, TikToker[4] @ramonesblisters posted a Sharingan Killer They Call Me Naruto meme, editing in the Ooh Give Me Gas clip of Charleston White. Over three months, the video received roughly 71,400 likes (shown below).

On April 20th, 2025, TikToker[5] @nssm214 posted a brainrot edit of the original video, in which White was given random CapCut filters and effects, receiving over 292,800 likes in three months (shown below).

On July 26th, TikToker[7] @realmawii posted an Accuracy Reenactment of the original video, gaining over 212,200 likes in two days (shown below).
