About
When You Lied About Your IT Qualifications, also known Lied About My Qualifications TikTok Trend, refers to a viral TikTok trend in which users humorously showcase the exaggerated or comical consequences of pretending to have skills or qualifications they do not possess, acting out scenarios where they are asked to perform tasks related to supposed expertise, especially IT and finance-related tasks, such as balancing books or using PowerPoint. The trend started in early June 2025, featuring users dramatically failing or misinterpreting their tasks.
